The govermnent of Alberta provides a variety of health services for parents with children.

Services offered may include:

– Comprehensive and coordinated assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation;

– Referral and consultation;

– Client/family teaching;

– Hearing screening;

– Collaboration with other professionals (i.e. public health with education for early detection);

– Assists client to maintain and improve independence and maximize health;

– Works with client rehabilitatively to restore health and functioning with multi-disciplinary teams.
